Angela's trip to Tenerife was exactly that kind of journey. When the Location and the Personality Lead the Shoot

As we walked, the photos practically took themselves — Angela moved confidently in front of the camera, and I simply let the atmosphere of the place and her vibrant personality guide the session.

There was something freeing about that afternoon. Not because it was her birthday, but because someone had taken the time to focus on herself — so that years later, she could look back and remember exactly who she was. I think that's what makes solo portrait sessions so powerful: they don't just produce photos, they create real memories — ones that bring back the scent of the place, the sound of the sea, and everything you felt in that moment.

An Experience That Continued Years Later

Some experiences begin with a single photoshoot but continue years down the line. Angela's did. A few years later, she came back to Tenerife — this time with her partner, family, and close friends, for an intimate wedding celebration. It was a real honor to be asked to photograph that day too. The short creative session after the ceremony wasn't really a new beginning — it was the continuation of a story we'd already started together.
