Sunset Babymoon Couple Session
in Costa Adeje

Some moments only happen once. That short, exciting stretch of time when a couple can feel a new chapter about to begin — this was exactly that. Ayesha and Charlie reached out to us right in the middle of their babymoon, expecting their first child, and wanting to capture this special season in a way that truly did it justice.

The Coffee That Starts Everything

Like every session I do, this one started with a coffee. We sat down together for a few minutes to get to know each other before I even picked up the camera. That small step almost always makes a difference — by the time we reached the location, any nerves were gone, replaced by pure excitement.

Two Locations, One Story

They weren't looking for a quick session — they chose the longer Experience package instead. To catch the best light at both locations, we split the shoot into two shorter sessions: one at sunset, on the beach of Playa Fañabé. For Los Gigantes, I usually recommend late afternoon or early evening, since the mountains keep the town in shadow through the morning — but to fit Ayesha and Charlie's schedule, we shot in the morning this time, and the results turned out beautifully anyway. Flexibility matters just as much as perfect light. (More on that morning session soon, in a separate post.)

Golden Light on the Beach

In the warm evening light, posing barely came up as a topic — Ayesha and Charlie are so natural and at ease with each other that all it took was letting them simply be themselves on this stunning stretch of southern Tenerife coastline. The joy of anticipation, the excitement of the future ahead, comes through in nearly every photo.

Moments like these are exactly why I love this work — they're when I feel like I'm part of something truly special, not just as a photographer, but as a witness to it. After sessions like this, I often come home and tell my wife: I'm falling in love with my job all over again.

The camera was never really the point — it's the honest, beautiful story of two people that matters. The photos are just what's left of it.
