A Romantic Park Photoshoot
in Candelaria

Please welcome our lovely friends, Dorothy and Milan. They came to Tenerife to visit us, escape the winter back home, and enjoy the island's incredible scenery. We spent a full week together, and I took countless photos throughout the week. For the end of their trip, we planned a bigger, dedicated session.

An Unexpected Choice of Location

We'd already shot at some of Tenerife's most iconic spots together, so this session needed something completely different. We found a small, romantic park in Candelaria, right next to the highway that runs past the town. It may sound like a slightly unusual choice, but once you see the photos, you'll understand why it worked. It turned out to be the perfect backdrop for Dorothy and Milan.

Natural, Playful, and Full of Laughter

We set up a small on-location studio and started shooting. Dorothy and Milan turned out to be naturals in front of the camera — comfortable, expressive, and unafraid to show real emotion, even though that's often the hardest part of a session for a couple. The whole afternoon had an upbeat, easygoing mood: cars hummed by on the highway just beyond the trees, and we laughed constantly.

Sessions like this are exactly why I love this work. Kata and I loved every minute we spent with you two — thank you for coming, and we hope to see you again soon!
